Dr Vanessa Haller
Sc(Hons), B Med Sci, MB BS, Diving Hyperbaric Med
Dr Vanessa Haller has approximately 30 years of General Practice including an interest in minor surgery and about 15 years experience working in the sub speciality of Skin Cancers, diagnosing including dermoscopy and treating including surgical procedures.
She helped initiate and worked in the first Skin Cancer Clinic on the Mornington Peninsula 15 years ago. During this time she obtained post graduate certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland.
She has helped train nurses and Doctors in dermoscopy which involves analysing magnified skin lesions for early malignant changes. This has resulted in a dramatic increase in the detection and successful treatment of early melanomas.

Dr Merian Waks
MB BS, FRAC GP
Dr Merian Waks is a General Practitioner with over 19 years experience in medicine graduating from Monash University in 1995. She has obtained postgraduate certificates in skin cancer medicine and skin cancer surgery form University of Queensland.
Dr Waks also assists in running surgical skills sessions run by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners for trainee GP’s to assist them in correct technique for shave and punch biopsy.

Dr Katrina White
MB BS, FRAC GP
Dr Katrina White’s diverse background in emergency medicine and rural general practice in Canada and her keen sense of adventure led her to immigrate to Australia in 2006.
She was impressed with the need to manage patients’ sun damaged skin, therefore completed advanced training in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery at the University of Queensland, and obtained her diploma from the Australasian Skin Cancer College.
Katrina has enjoyed settling on the Mornington Peninsula with her family and since 2009 focussing on skin care and developing expertise in the early detection and management of melanoma and many other skin cancers.
Working with the skilled SSCC team she also enjoys travelling to remote parts of Victoria offering skin cancer/melanoma screening to rural farming communities and educating patients about their skin care.

Dr Lyjane Rodrigues
MB BS, FRAC GP
Dr Lyjane Rodrigues completed her Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Goa University, India after which she moved to Adelaide where she underwent her post graduate medical training for 4 years.
She moved to Victoria for further GP training and completed her Fellowship in Warrnambool where she practised for 4 years.
Dr Rodrigues has experience in all aspects of general medicine, with special interest in women’s health and children’s health.
She holds a Diploma of Child Health from the University of Sydney. Dr Rodrigues is passionate about skin cancer detection and has attained a Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine.
She is currently pursuing her degree in Skin Cancer Medicine. She enjoys travel, mastering new languages, exploring new cultures, hiking and enjoying a seaside lifestyle.
